This suggestion seems to me like the company is

grasping at straws.

I love universal remotes but I am beginning to develop a bitter hatred toward their RF stuff. I myself have one at home and it works flawlessly. I continue to run into problems on almost every install. I know I ask the impossible.... but is there a way in the future that maybe Universal could change the freq. to something different or is the FCC going to say NAY NAY to that?

The issue with the surge pro, seems like a load of stuff but to be honest, it seems to work. Maybe wirelss networks or wireless security is causing issues. LCD computer monitors, plasmas, cable box and satellite causing RF interference???? Come on. What are they supposed to operate effectively. Sorry and no disrespect to Universal but this need to be alleviated.

Our answer to the RF gremlin was actually switching hardware.

I have a MRF200 BASE AND I AM GETTING NO RF SIGNAL, ANY THOUGHTS.
IS THE BASE JUST DEFECTIVE OR THE REMOTE NOT SENDING AND RF SIGNAL?

DOES ANYBODY HAVE THE MRF200 WORKING WITH THE MX800 REMOTE?

I LITERALLY LEFT THE CLOSET DOOR OPEN, EVERYTHING WORKED FINE. I CLOSE THE DOOR AND PUT THE REMOTE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOLLOW DOOR WITH MRF200 BASE AND NOTHING WORKS?

THE PROGRAM IS SET TO IR AND RF FOR EVERYTHING, SHOULD I TURN OFF THE IR?

You need to call URC, depending on which version of the MRF-200, maybe they will swap it out for you. It can't hurt to ask. You can reach them at: (914) 835-4484.

Thank you,
