What button corresponds to the FIREWIRE input when in "discrete mode"? I have a DVHS and am trying to set up a simple macro to go to the firewire input on a Mits 62725 or newer. Any help is appreciated.

I really appreciate this thread since I have the same components and this fix allows me to add a discrete on-off function for my macros.

Just an update. Added the discrete on/off for my Mitsu TV and its great for me and esp my wife with the macros. I am using a Motorola HD cable box DCT 5100. Does anyone know if it has a discrete on/off setting that can be accessed from the remote like the Mitsu?

I am looking for discrete learnable MX-800 codes for the HDMI input/devices on a Mitsubishi WD62627 TV.

The TV only toggles between the 2 available HDMI inputs.

I tried the above (090) with the remote, all works great right up and including the first HDMI input but I can't find a remote button that works the HDMI-2 input.

Please help

I can tell you that I have the Mits 62725 and
two weeks ago used the process that Mike outlines
above and it works perfectly. For example now
my wife can hit the button labled "Movie" and
the Denon DVD5900 tray opens; the Denon receiver
switches to DVD in; and most importantly the Mits
input switches directly to DVI.

I also have setup the other Mits input discretes
in other macros (and the "on/off" too). Mike
was a life saver. Thanks.
