Yes, but only for the Soft LCD buttons (Additional Buttons) - not for the Hard buttons (Standard Buttons).

I will also ask if someone could share a link or the file Version 1.2 of the Harmony Mod.

It's still available through the firefox website.... http://addons.mozilla.orgJust went there - Unfortunately, that is version 1.1 which apparently does not work. Folks here have been talking about 1.2, I believe. Actually, since the files inside the xpi file are Plain text, I think, someone could post the files.

Anyway, I just tried the links in the first post of this thread, and the first one still works...the one that goes to momupload.com

czzer:
Thanks. That first link was blocked by some firewall stuff. Finally got it and it does work.
Again, thanks for sticking with us!
Now to figure out what or where FAVORITES are "stored" since I would like to add another Additional button but that will create a Page 2 for my Tivo Activity and I would prefer FAVORITES to stay on Page 1 but since they do not show up as the assignable buttons, I don't know what effect adding stuff will do to ordering.

I assume you have a 720 or 785? I think (but I don't know for sure as I don't have one) that the Favorites command is always on the same spot on page 1, so you should be ok to add your command.

I would be nice if _I_ were more in charge of the remote programming. I would prefer making a BACKUP of my current settings, play around and RESTORE if things went very awry. I will check on readings that said one can create a HEX file of some sort and save that rather than immediately updating the remote. Then play a bit. Thanks.

Thanks. Just create a second user account to use for "testing"...that's what I've done. You can add devices, play with anything and everything to see what does what, but your main account remains untouched. You can update the remote from either account as you need.

You still need the Harmony software to actually update the remote. When you dowload the ezehex file, select the Harmony Desktop software to open it with.

Ok I have a problem...
I updated the remote and needed to make a couple changes. Made the changes and updated again. Then I tried to make a couple of more changes which was simply moving the sequence commands to the end of activities to see if that got rid of the blanks since the blanks corresponded to where the sequence commands were placed. Now the remote will not communicate :(
It beeped just before the last update completed but it completed the update and worked ok when done. It recognizes that the USB cable is connected but the software wont communicate, it states that the USB cable needs to be connected or to press any button to wake up the remote. I did all that and even removed the battery to attempt to reset still nothing. Any ideas anyone.
