I just bought one -- very disappointed!! Setup looks nice, programs the remote via a USB port to your PC or MAC, but is slow, crashed several times during setup. The automatic setup seems nice, but often makes poor choices -- e.g., No I don't want to turn off my TIVO when I listen to music. "Manual" setup is no better -- turns off all devices not used for that activity, no chance to override.

Worst part - display is too dim and tiny to read in subdued light of usual TV viewing -- only readable in bright light or total darkness. I need a device like this for my home theater setup, but this one doesn't cut it.

I'd love to hear from someone who has a better unit.

Sears has them for $74.99 until 12/17. Both in-store and online.

I used the prev track, next track buttons for my page up and down. Since they weren't assigned to anything in the default Watch PVR activity. And i programmed the * and # to be Day+ and day-.

I didn't like the feel at first, but after about a week, it is growing on me. The wife was angry when i bought it, but after 1/2 day of using it, she won't let me take it back...
