I like the looks of the 520 -- but I think that any remote with a Guide button really should have Page Up/Page Down buttons, which are some of the most frequently used on my remote. (I appropriated the A/B buttons on the 676.) I don't see obvious candidates on the 520. I think it would be better if the Glow button were divided in half and dedicated as Page Up/Down.
So, I'm curious, which buttons would you appropriate to use for Page Up/Page Down on this remote? With Tivo you don't need page up/page down. You just use the channel up and down buttons. Problem solved!

You could also asign those on the LCD keys.

Well, channel up/down would be ideal, and that's cool for Tivo, but it doesn't work for Comcast. Blah.
You know, I'm shamed to no end for this, but I just changed the silver faceplate to the red one on my 676. And now I can't stop staring at teh shiny sleekness... Pretty... :>

Looks like there will be a higher end 520. It will be private labled to Harmon Kardon but Logitech should have it available on their Harmony line as well. Note the color LCD and 8 side buttons -- I certainly makes me think of 880 DONE RIGHT! P. 14 [Link: manuals.harman.com]

The 520 will only be available through Walmart at first and then maybe other Mass Retailers like Target and Best Buy.
Logitech is planning on shipping these to land in stores sometime in November.

Walmart stores in many areas now have the 520 in stock for $99, although in most cases it's not yet out on display (ask them to check inventory).

Has anyone actually SEEN one of these in person? I'd be interested to know your opinion.

i have an 880 but i'm not 100% happy w/ the placement of the frequently used PVR (play, rewind) keys. This 520 looks great - but what would i lose by moving to it (besides the media key which i don't really care about?). anyone know? thx.

I think the lower price point may be because Logitech is not Harmony.................................................... So the 520 may be the first play for the lower end market. It might be for the lower price crowd but I doubt it will sell well at Walmart. The checkout lady gasped when she rang it up. Half their TV's cost less than the 520.

Hey BodegaBay, Thanks for your info. I have the 659 and love it, thought about the 520 but 4 buttons is not enough, I want to have A,B,C,DVR and PgUp and PgDn readily available. The eight buttons on the Harmon Kardon will work perfectly. I will wait for this to be available (it is obviously made by Logitech) and get it from either company. MIF.

I have one these and it does up to 12 activities, you can scroll thru them with the buttons bellow the activity screen. You simply put the 4 most commonly used onmes first and scroll for the others as needed.
A great buy!

Good idea. I just recieved mine (to replace a first generation 768) and spent hours trying to get it to work (with Logitech's dubious support). What a frustrating experience. Poor quality and poorer ergonomics.
