Better and worse. :P

My sternum is almost completly heaed (meaning I don't notice it anymore excpet when some moron hits me there *cough* like my brother). My back is acting up so I have an appointment to get that checked out. I really am just sick of the entire process. I went car shopping yesterday (which sucked!!) and I'm thumbing through Auto Traders galore as well as Classic Car Traders... I'm actually going to go look at a 1970 Doge Charger today...it's in almost perfect condition.. I'm very excited about the thing (V8...big block...mmmmmm) lol and those classic cars are almost all metal... I woudlnt be too worried about that thing getting banged up!

I am over my fight with the flu and then the cold... but now worse problems have arisen. I am having sharp abdominal pains and my stomach is starting to swell a bit (lol and NO! It's not cause I'm gaining weight!) The doctor said I may have reptured something. *growls* I am just so sick of being t the doctors every week and being sick all the time.

But aside all the frusteration I am happy! :) And to me, thats all that really matters.

Thats for your concern and support. :) Oh! And I'm working on a pic for RC. ;) ( I dont know about the tank top though Greg - Ken might be your better bet.) :)

Take care!!

CV, if you're seriously considering a car that old, look around for a '69 Camaro, especially a convertible, or a Rally Sport, or for a real rare piece, a Rally Sport/Super Sport, which was a rare combination even back then, more valuable today.

Glad to hear you're falling back into one piece.

Larry, I'll second the '69 camaro SS. That was my first car and I would love to find one now.

Oooohhh shitt.... that thing is sweet. :)

Its so funny that you mentioned that car though because I swear, I just called on a 1969 Camaro Saterday. It was a '69 SS (wouldn't buy it if it wasnt an SS!) It was red with the black racing stripes (mmmm) but the guy hasnt called me back yet! :( I think I've left him like 6 or 7 messages by now. lol Think I'm coming on too strong?

The Charger (which was the original Vitamin C orange.... couldn't you picture me drivin around in the brightest car on the road?!) was sold on the first day it went for sale in the Autotrader. :( The only one left right now is a 1970 Camero... while I like the '69 much more, I need a car fast and the '70 is about $3000 cheaper. The one I am considering is the monster green (whoopie! My favorite of all the original colors) :) ... drives perfect and the body is in mint condition. The interior needs a little work but I rebuild cars - so that is no problem.

I'll have to post up some pictures of my other cars. I have (okay okay - its my dads car!) a 1970 Grand Coupe Baracuda .... I've had so many classics pass through my family... the car I REALLY want however, is a 1970 Hemi Cuda convert. Find me (lol and BUY me) one of those and I'll love you forever!! OH!! Or a cobra ... or a Shelby Mustang. :) Wait! I got a great idea! For Christmas all of you can each buy me a car! How does that sound? ;)

My first car was a '65 Corvair Corsa, with the 140HP 4-carb engine, 4-speed, and only cost me $25 and about 2 hours of wiring repair.

You have an "Old School" Mustang? (I define old school as between 1964 -1969, anything else was either overweight or had no power until the "5.0"L V8's of the late 80's early 90's) My dad had a 1967 from new that he ran into the ground by the time he dumped it in 1984, but I still miss it, hot black vinyl seating and all ;-)

*drool* does to have the "Twin Cowl" dashboard too? (Much nicer to look at IMO than the stock guages which were ripped straight from the Ford Falcon) If I were insane I'd use part of the settlement from my auto ins. claim to grab myself a nice Stang of that era, probably a '67 sedan model, just cause I liked my dad's car so much (and at this rate, the way the other side is playing around, the settlement is going to be even bigger than I thought, since they seem bound and determined to bury themselves >:)
