I like everybody around RC a lot, so I think I'll bow
out of any political discussions.

That's too bad. All you have to remember is to stick to issues and not call names, and we can get somewhere.
We are all entitled
to our opinions,

Yes, we are.
and we all have formed our opinions
and political ideologies from our peers parents, and geographic
locations.

My parents were Republicans and I couldn't stand that. My peers are Democrats. I live in California...sort of left coast, I'd say. I'm a Republican. And not because of all of those things in my past, but because of thinking about things. Mr. Stanley, I apologize that I have to say this, but this description you give sounds like a description of a person who has not thought out what his own opinions will be based on what he thinks and believes.
peace.

Indeed, peace! Peace on all of us!

Ernie... I believe in what I think is best. I was just saying that all of us develop our opinions from our own experiences and influences.
My folks were republicans as well. They also chainsmokers, drank and were bigots.
I am none of the above.
