Even if you were on the fence before, now that Sarah Palin
is the GOP VP pick, do you really want her within a heartbeat
(or lack thereof) of the presidency?

It is unbelievable that she is, where she is. If she wasn't good looking, I wonder how well she would be received?

Not at all. With the events of the past few weeks, I have to say that Obama/Biden is the better choice.

It's going to really get interesting once the debates start. Personally, I think Obama can out-debate McCain, so that may be a large factor.

I've been thinking the exact same thing. Just imagine if she was 20 years older and nowhere near as hot looking, then people would look right past her looks and look straight at her policies, and they'd be as scared as I am. Sarah Palin is a Creationist nut-job. She wants books that she doesn't approve of removed from the public library, she's totally anti-choice when it comes to abortion and if anyone dares to oppose her, she either fires them or tries to get them fired. This is the change that America needs, year right!

I think a little dirt will get unearthed about her soon. The Republicans have totally insulated her since the announcement. Look into the organization her husband was / is a member of... Mrs. Palin is also a member of a church sect that believes that there will soon be armageddon, and only 144,000 people will survive.
She also didn't sell that jet on eBay... a broker sold it. Now there is talk that the down syndrome babay was actually one of her daughters' babies.
A spokesperson for her said she has foreign policy understanding, because "Alaska is close to Russia".
Just check our her reap on Youtube when she was speaking at her church about how the Iraq war was "Gods' Will"... She is a total nutcase. Scares the sh*t out of me that so many morons think she is the "one".

One thing i have noticed about Obama is that he is very good at delivering the big speeches but he seems to get flustered during the small ones.

I was watching a 5 minute clip of him talking with a group somewhere last week, not sure where because i wasnt paying attention until the last part. He stopped and restarted sentences frequently like he wasnt prepared or like his mind was on something else. He sounded like a highschool kid doing his first oral report in front of the class.

Tonight i was at dinner with a customer and i began talking about it and the customer told me that his daughter noticed the same thing. Obama was speaking at her college and she noticed the "stuttering".

I doubt this matters much after wathcing GWB destroy the english language for so many years but i thought it was interesting. Hes definately the best choice and a good choice IMO but Bill Clinton he aint. Bill Clinton = Good Speaker, all the time.

Her daughter is PG, and her son has / had a problem with Oxycontin, booze and pot, and was forced to join the Military to clean up his act.
She had an affair.
Her husband was a member of a political group that "hates the U.S. government" and wanted Alaska to secede from the U.S.
Then of course she insists the war with Iraq is part of God's Plan.

Good choice, McCAIN.

That may be a little exaggerated, Stanley. Or at least I don't see all the relevance in it.

But I definitely don't support her either way. War with Russia would be absolutely devastating right now. It could be the worst thing the world has ever seen if we were involved in a major war at this point in time.

And it's really over something pretty insignificant in the scheme of things. No reason that some kind of balance cannot be reached as things stand now.

Our military is worn down from Iraq, and we can't just keep pouring money in, especially with the economy the way it is. True, wars have historically led to economic recovery, but that is only under the correct circumstances.

And Iraq is such a mess the way it is. We can't stay there forever, yet we can't leave right away either.

Such a shame. I though McCain had a campaign that was going in the right direction. But actions as of late show me that that is not the correct direction for the country to be going.

Hmmm . . . On second thoughts . . .

Perhaps, being sucked into a black hole would be no bad thing.
