Well, I must be safe in a lagging position...

I guess I don't click the mouse on this one as much.

What?

I have the rest of my life right?

Any predictions on how many posts there will be in the year 2027?

Maybe I'll be in the top 10 by then?

At the moment no. I do, however, have a plan to devise a model to do such a thing, but that requires data, which I'm presently engaged in collecting.

Of course, even then there is no guarantee that the result will be entirely accurate; predicting the future from historical data is by no means an exact science - ask any climatologist.

You are catching up fast. But yeah, obviously, the lower you are the easier it is to go up a few positions.

I’m not quite such a sad git after all)

Ah, never mind - I'm not sure that it is a title I want either. And I have been trying to think what I could better do with my time! The wife's job list I suppose...nah! Then she'd only find something else to nag about.

Thanks for all the hard work djy...quite entertaining and it's sad to see one or two members no longer participate.

A quick, back of the beer mat, calculation tells me that 43% of the contributors have posted only once - which goes up to 69% for single figure only contributors.

Yep, it would be nice if a few more returned, such as Estaban for example. Posted for the first time on page 27 (March 9th 2002) and then again on page 1718 (February 9th 2008) - a gap of a mere 6 years, thereabouts.

Got away from that when I had a disagreement with my brother, who happens to own the restaurant. Got laid off from from installing insulation as well. I'm currently not working, but I have some possible business opportunities in digitally archiving historic media (archive news film footage from the 50's from a local TV station, as well as archive footage from some historical groups).
