Here are the codes Im using for the Sharp LC-46D62U. They
work with no flaws,(or as flawless as you can get with
IR) I think I got them on here some where but dont remember.
But they have been tested using the pronto 7500. Good
luck.

Have you looked at these?

If anyone has sharp codes that are not on this list please post them.

If anyone has a set that does not respond to some of these listed codes, please post the model number and commands needed.

I will try and track the issues.

Hi I just got the latest Sharp 52" LCD the LC52XL2E and this code works for discrete ON with no problems

0000 006d 0000 0020 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 068b 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 001e 000a 0047 000a 068b

I will test the other new codes when I get the chance
And so it ends as it started -- Need an upgrade

I know this is an old thread but I have the same problem on my Sharp LC-46XD1E. All the discrete codes work EXCEPT power ON. I tried all examples in this thread.

Anyone?

All the Power On codes here are the same code.

What remote are you using?

Have you tried increasing the duration?

Make sure Power Save Mode is OFF in the Menu.

Thanks for your reply on this old thread. I have made sure Setup -> Miscellaneous -> No signal off is set to "Disable".

I'm using an Global Cache iTach WF2IR and then Openremote.org's tool to create the remote.

I tried all three HEX codes I found in this thread (converted them from HEX -> GC, Global Cache, using iConvert.exe.

POWER ON example 1:
0000 006D 0000 0020 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0679 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0679

POWER ON example 2:
0000 006D 0000 0020 000A 0047 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0047 000A 001E 000A 0047 000A 001E 000A 0047 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0047 000A 001E 000A 0047 000A 001E 000A 0680 000A 0047 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0047 000A 0047 000A 001E 000A 0047 000A 001E 000A 0047 000A 0047 000A 001E 000A 0047 000A 001E 000A 0047 000A 0680

POWER ON example 3:

I have not increased the duration but since all other 15 buttons work without increasing the duration I don't know if this will help? Don't really know how to to... There's a "repeat count" that I can increase.

Sorry! I can see the IR-eye transmitting the IR-signals to the TV but it doesn't react to POWER ON when it's off.

Could it be related to the firmware update someone was referring to in an earlier post?

I figured as soon as a client asked me to install his new Sharp 70LE w/ a new receiver, bluray and a control system. Figured I would try the new Pro Control, same code structure and learner as RTI. I knew the Sharp would throw a wrench into the fire.
If anyone has figured out discrete Power On & Off ?
I will learn codes with an IR Pro Learner and publish next week, but if anyone has done so in the meantime?
Muchas Gracias!

Here are the codes Im using for the Sharp LC-46D62U. They work with no flaws,(or as flawless as you can get with IR) I think I got them on here some where but dont remember. But they have been tested using the pronto 7500. Good luck.

Power ON:

Just tried the power on/off and video1 (HDMI 1) on a 70" LC-70LE632U, works fine.

Hi I'm new to this IR code stuff. I program Harmony remotes for our clients. Usually I have no problems with the Harmony. If I need a code I can usually just have the remote learn the code from the original remote but with the latest sharp Model LC42LE540 the harmony isn't learning the codes. I have talked to Harmony and they have asked for codes in Pronto code. Sharp sent me their codes in binary format. I have tried using MakeHex to convert them but I am getting confused. Can anyone help me in converting these binary codes into Pronto codes.

You can always just go into the public mode service menu, and enable the 232C POWON that will take care of the secondary standby mode.
