You're bosses garage sounds like a current customer of mine, his wife drives a high-end lexus sedan, he has a Hummer on 40" tires, Cadillac SLR, and a Ferrari F1/430. He tells me the Ferrari floor matts cost $1400 then asked for a 10% discount on my materials!

the critics here sound a little too uptight, In my personal opinion, Stanley did nothing wrong,

My old boss, the very day we were supposed to get Christmas bonuses after increasing sales by 60% that year with same number of staff, did not give any bonuses and same day showed everyone the new turbo Porsche Cayenne he just bought his wife, he was driving a crappy S430 AMG benz

sometimes venting is a good thing

Yeah LOL, but I wasn't venting! I'm just hoping in another life to be in that position.

Man, when your boss did that, though THAT would tend to cause a little, uh resentment...?

I won a national sales contest one time... The supplier gave me two tickets to Mexico for a week - 4 star resort, fishing trip scheduled all that stuff... at the last minute, the guy I worked for decided to go instead!

My boss has been pretty cool actually, as we are re-building the division after our techs "walked" about 8 months ago to start their own deal, and although we have just about finished all the jobs they left hanging, sales have sucked, because we have been focusing on finishing the other jobs!

The fact that he's kept our division going says a lot - because we have been bleeding $$$ the last 6 months pretty heavily.
The good news is - we have a few nice projects almost ready to start, so our year should end up O.K.!

I wonder
if I go to Starbucks for a double tall latte,
will my Debit Card work or will it get denied?!

Lifes a bitch!

Start your pension fund by going to Dunkin' Donuts and stashing the difference in a bank account until you have enough to invest in something that will make some money.

Or, at least around here, McDonald's has gone to a more robust ( = strong and semi-burnt tasting) coffee. If you like that, try them. The price is way better than Charbucks.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I planned the end of my retail days when the owners of the company I worked for, who forced us to work on New Years Day (when I should have been firmly planted on my couch, remote in hand trying to watch three football games at once), sent us a message from Sun Valley thanking us for the good year we'd had.

I didn't begrudge them the ability to go on the trip or felt they didn't deserve it... just decided that if I didn't want to work when I really didn't want to work... that I should put myself in a position to call my own shots. As many can attest to... this has its own ups and downs as well.

Hey Stanley... with all this $$$$ does your boss want to by a small Kenmore based subdivision?

It has a 12 banger. Sounds like a whining turbine, when you rev it up!

No cup holder for the 40 oz. can of malt liquor though!

Ridenauer,

It is pretty bad - assed! Kind of understated in that there aren't a bunch of goofy spoilers, wings and vents... But it does have this subtle look of coiled - up power!!!

And as with most Ferarris' it's got to be RED!

Hell, the new GT500 Mustang has 500 horse and costs 40 or 50. And as much as I love Stangs, its still no prancing horse.
