Hey gang, just wanted to give y'all some follow-up:

Installed a Key Digital KD-CDA3 ( [Link: keydigital.com] ) distribution amplifier yesterday, and the picture cleared up just fine. Didn't have to replace the coax in the wall. BTW, I removed FIFTEEN "Y" cables/splitters from that fiasco.

Now as for the debate about wire, let's have it. I think this is a great way to help educate others about the importance of some things.
