All these quotes are vile and disgusting.

Having said that, all partisanship should be set aside. Society needs to unite, a lot of people will potentially die from this.

There are likely 100,000's of infected in the US now. Exponential growth is happening and will continue. Depending the effectiveness of the government response, social distancing, personal hygiene etc, the number of infected will double every 3 - 7 days for a minimum of a month, so take 100,000 people (which is a very conservative estimate for the number infected right now) and start doing the math for Apr 1, Apr 15.

The numbers are frightening. There is no guarantee warmer weather will slow the rate of infection. Any vaccine is 12-18 months away.

So to focus on partisanship right now might be norm and appropriate for some people, but what does it actually contribute to solving this massive problem?

USA has 1,678 confirmed cases.

Not sure when who.int lasted updated. But the numbers are FAR less than what you are “thinking”.

This does point to the likeliness that the mortality rate is a lower percentage because the number of people infected is much lightly a lot higher than known, but with documented cases having nearly INCREASED by your figure alone, chances are this is due to more tests finally being available.

You do understand there is community spread in many places in the US. The lack of testing is the main reason for the number being so low.

Washington Governor said up to 64,000 could be infected in Washington state alone on March 10. It goes on to explain how this can potentially grow exponentially.

I am not trying to create panic but trying make sure people take this seriously, and practice good hygiene, social distancing etc. Do some googling and find reliable sources for information.
