I had a good conversation with him. A technical guy, but outside the industry. Also, a very disciplined operator -- West Point and later Harvard MBA. I think RTI really needed someone like him.

Oh, and Apex will ship this year -- not in 2 weeks but we "probably won't have to wait til the end of the year."

I love RTI even with some of it's problems. Hopefully this gives them a boost they need.

How anyone can use RTI and not be out of business is beyond me. More power to you!

I talked with him also, but he said his first day on the job wasn't for two weeks…
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

We switched to RTI a little over a year ago and it's been one of the best moves we've made in 20 years in the business, our systems are 1000% better and our sales are up over 55% over last year. I've seen completely horrendous RTI systems but it's all in the programming, RTI gives you all the tools to make your systems as good you want them to be,...if your system isn't great using RTI it's on you.

Bullsh1t. I had zero issues with RTI programming. I did have issues with RTI firmware and RTI product failures. And my sample size was small. I do know of zome others that had some similar experiences on a larger scale. It COULD be a great product, but they lost my trust.

Like I said, we've been using RTI for a little over a year and haven't had one issue with hardware with the exception of a processor damaged from a lightning strike. Maybe they had issues before we haven't seen it.

We switched from TC.

OK, not trying to yuck your yum. Went to RTI on the heels of Prontos and Intellicontrols. They were the bees knees for many years, but just a couple scrapes with product support led to an off-again stance for me.

Until they swap the volume and channel buttons, they should not even be considered as an option!!!!!!!!! Pure ridiculousness!!!!!!!!
I love supporting product that supports me!

I like them swapped. Now I think all other remotes have it wrong.

That's the problem your experience is barely a year. Just wait until the failures start
