Ideology? Most likely. Which is EXACTLY what this SHOULD be about. For me it boils down to the ONE most important thing: Judge appointments. Love Trump, hate Trump DOES NOT MATTER AT ALL. Period. Its all about how the laws will be interpreted. THAT affects all us and our family and future generations. That's exactly what the voters should consider the most when pulling the lever. If you hate Trump, fine, hold your nose and make the vote, you're basically voting on how the courts will work. It may only be a four year stent. Who knows. I can work through four year. We CANT work through four years of liberal judge appointments. It will last generations.

It's simple. If care about our borders, military, life, immigration, then vote for the courts. THAT vote is for Trump. There is no argument. If you want open borders, reduced gun rights, reduced military, more taxes, open bathrooms, no rights for the unborn, no rights of the non union employees, no religious freedom, no death penalty, a greater reach of the government, STRONGER affirmative action, less business, less capitalism, the list goes on and on and one. That will ALL change if Hillary appoints justices she wants.

It is interesting to read these last few posts. I was there, less than 40’ from Trump for the entire speech. (BTW, Giuliani spoke before Trump and introduced him. His speech was excellent in it delivery and content!) Trump has a habit or style of speaking where he doesn’t always finish his sentence and runs into another one in the same breath. It is just the way he speaks.

I never once took this comment to infer that gun owners should commit violence against anyone. I took the comment as a portion of the topic of lobbyist in Washington and the power of the NRA.

I also expected him to say something crazy and non PC, but he was focused, discussed four or five major topics of his platform and left the crowd in a very optimistic mood that he could root out the engrained Washing establishment and fix a lot of what’s wrong in our capital. (how’s that for a long run on sentence?)

There it is, in context. Looking at the crowd of people behind him they knew exactly what he alluded to. It wasn't subtle at all.

That's because you are sane and well adjusted. Your party and members of you party, however, have insisted the mentally ill should be able to carry guns. Which is the bigger problem because even as close as 2011 we've had an attempted assassination of a congressperson by someone who was paranoid schizophrenic. And that's all well and good until you remember that the same congress person was 'targeted' with a crosshair in an election ad a few months prior. Is it coincidence? We don't know -- and perhaps never well. But what if it isn't? Why take that risk?

The point is you, me, and other normal people don't think anything of the insane ramblings of Trump. They go in one ear and out the other even as close as 40 feet away -- but the for the small crowd of crazies out there who think Hillary is some kind of criminal (despite no convictions -- but that's okay, its politics and the message sticks. Crooked I get it.) and want to "lock her up" ( ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ), can, have, and will distort what their "leaders" are saying in perverse ways. Which is why anyone *fit* to lead doesn't say anything close to what Trump said at all.

Historically this has happened many times before. It's not something the media is just 'making up.' We know what those times in history were and through the gift of retrospection we are able to look into what the causes were. We're supposed to learn from history what happens when a demagogue starts delivering a populist message to a small but vocal minority group of people who feel disenfranchised by the loss of institutional discrimination of people who are 'not like them.'

That has never ended well for anyone.
