I believe he was referring to the medical system. That Obamacare was intended to fail from the beginning so people would willingly accept a socialized medical system. I fully believe this was the plan. For ACA to be a step towards a government run system by bankrupting the current system and putting most a Americans without private coverage.

You're right. Politicians only scheme, hide their true ultimatum, and work to their true goals a step at a time on Netflix series

Yeh, politicians are people and sometimes they do bad things. But this kind of thing is just a symptom of the inability of people to accept that someone they disagree with might do something because they actually believe in it and sincerely think it will help.

As someone who has no health insurance because I'm self employed, I think that having some entity to aggregate the purchasing power of all the folks like me, in order to get reasonable prices, makes a lot of sense. The discounts that big companies get for their employees are massive, to the point that it's very difficult to afford any sort of health insurance if you don't work for one of them. For folks with families, the need for health insurance is a huge disincentive to go out on their own, or to do anything (even if it would be good for them or the rest of us) that would risk their getting fired.

I agree. And when I was in real estate I asked time and time again why the worlds largest trade organization (Association of Realtors) couldn't find a way to negotiate group policies for their members. But since we were each considered a self employed contractor, it supposedly couldn't be done.

I just don't think the ACA ever really truly was meant to be a solution. Off the bat it was a sinking ship. After the first year providers were running away as fast as they could. I think most states now are down to only two providers, and most expect United to bow out next year.

Maybe it would have done better if half the country didn't seem to believe it was a communist plot and weren't trying their best to discredit or kill it in any way possible?

Maybe it wouldn't have been looked at that way if it had been created in a way that it could support itself and not collapse under its own weight

It was a huge scam from the beginning. Gonna save us $2500.00 a family, keep your doctor, etc. The only thing that kept our healthcare affordable was competition.

I was just another scam to get this country feeding on the gubment tit.

I am very fortunate to be on Samaritans and do not have to deal with it. My whole family of ten is under $500.00 per month.

Let's see you try to explain it.

I did.

Now lets see you try and comprehend it.

But our health care has never been affordable. It's always been very expensive. In a backwards sort of way, the only thing that keeps most individuals from seeing the full cost of our system is sort of the opposite of competition, it's the existence of large companies that can use their collective power to force lower prices for their employees. It pushes people to stay in those large companies and not go start another company of their own to try to compete, because they can't afford not to have health insurance. That's one of the biggest negative pressures against the creation small businesses, it seem's to me.

$500 a month is some people's rent or house payment. That would be paying as much for insurance as for housing, which would be crazy.

As to your scam claims, again, the completely inability of people on both far ends to accept that people that they don't agree with can have completely honest intentions for doing what they do. It's a cancer that is destroying this country.

I call BS on this. Recently talked to the folks about the amount of the hospital bill when I were born in 1960 - the whole affair cost about $200. Hospital stay, drugs, delivery room... everything. There was no health insurance, Pops paid cash.
I came into this game for the action, the excitement. Go anywhere, travel light, get in, get out, wherever there's AV trouble, a man alone.

Huh? It was free for me as my employer paid it for years in the 80' and 90s'. Why did they pay it? BECAUSE IT WAS AFFORDABLE. So, your statement is a little off.

Why do they not pay it now? Because its not affordable.

You've never actually explained anything. You only go off on whining rants. I may not agree with Mac or BP, but they can explain their point.

You mean like turning around the economy-bringing us back from the worst recession since the depression?.

You're really going to make this that easy?

You mean the slowest economic recovery in modern times due to failed policies? Imagine what a REAL leader could have done.

Passed the economic stimulus plan.

Seriously? THAT is an accomplisment? Please list exactly how?

Passed Wall Street reform.

REALLY? He cozied up to wall street bankers and made banker friendly policies. JP Morgan Chase, BOA, CitiGroup and Well Fargo are now all larger. THAT reform?

And how about all them crooks that went to jail?

Toppled Moammar Gaddafi.

Hmm, THAT is an accomplishment in your eyes but toppling other dictators is a war crime? Funny how that works.

And how did that work out? ISIS get stronger? Americans die? Yes, QUITE an accomplishment. Only in a liberals mind.

Reversed Bush Torture practices.

Oh, you mean the ones that led us to Osama? Got it! What was it? THREE waterboard ventures. Oh my.

Kicked banks out of Federal Student loan programs.

And where does it sit now? On the backs of taxpayers? Waiting for the next LARGER crisis? Might want to take that off the list of "accomplishments"

Achieved new START treaty with Russia.

Acheived? Wrong word. You mean intented to acheive. You know, that same program that has allowed Russia to double warheads with its own re-entry program? Again, you make this too easy.

Improved school nutrition.

The meals that kids are not eating? THAT improvement?

Avoided scandal(s).

Clever now isnt he? Never get your fingerprint and let others take the fall. You have to admit most scandal, and o their were MANY, never came to fruition. How can they when you have the Judicial arm of the US Government in your back pocket. Come on dude, you can do better than this.

Brokered speedy compensation for gulf oil spill.

Ya, Obama did that all by his lil' ol' self. A real american hero and quite the god of all things.

Signed the American recovery / reinvestment act - created 2.1 million jobs alone.

OH the stimulus package. You need to do some research here bud. Also, check you stats on the jobs number. Your calculator is broke.

Launched a 15 billion dollar plan to boost lending to small businesses.

Not familiar with that enough to comment.

Killed the F-22

You left the rest of it out: Gutted ALL the armed forces leaving us the weakest military in our life time. Sure you want to list that one?

Donated his $1.4 million Nobel Prize to non profits.

Knowing that tens of millions is waiting for him after he leaves his sticking it to the, err, I mean, leave his service to the people. Just wait for those scandals.

Provided better body armor to our troops.

You know damn good and well he would have never done anything of the sort if there was not pressure. He HATES the military. Always has.

Helped reversal of the stock market's downward spiral.

Capitalism works? Oh my! eaxctly what his "help". Where would the recovery has gone without his "help"?

Extended unemployment benefits for 2 million people by 20 weeks.

Waste of money for the most part. Chalked with fraud, but you would ignore that part.

Ok, my fingers are gettnig tired, but you can now that many of the strenghts you have shown from your mesiah are actually detrimental and staggering weaknesses.

Tightened sanctions on Iran.

Oh but a couple more I couldnt leave out. Tightened? Brahahahahaha. SERIOUSLY??

Ended the Iraq war (never should have been started).

You left out parts. Let me fix that for you " end the Irag war way to early, against the recommendation of all the top brass. Left ISIS to grow in the vacuum he alone created. Blame Bush all you want, doesnt matter. Obama is soley responsible for his own action.

Got Bin Laden.

Thats to the tactics and efforts of the previous administration. Youre very welcome Obama.

Has taken out top level Taliban & Al Qaeda terrorists.

Only to allow them be out maneuvered by the junior varsity team. (remember, those are his words)

Saved a ship crew from Somali terrorists.

I thought I saw Obama on that ship negotiating. Yes, no thanks to the military there.

Promoted tax cuts for the middle class in their weekly paychecks.

huh?

Passed healthcare reform.

Let me fix that for you: Passed a failed plan through back room deals that he knew would fail, thus leading to exactly what he wants: socialist healthcare. Dont be stupid.

Didn't take your god damn guns.

Oh but wouldnt he if he could! every one of them. You know it, I know it. But, of course he cant.

Enough, for now. That was fun. But intriguing that such moronic thoughts of his followers and what they will believe. Just about ANYTHING. Keep grasping for straws. Warning, they are all short. Very short.

Remember, Im in the "they are all crooks" camp. Your "achievements" needed to be debunked. And they were. Thats the best you got? Its ashamed you cant be proud.
