I don't always act like a beer snob, but when I do, it is because someone actually requested Dos Equis.

Dos equis is for real men.....not that micro brewed yuppie snot.

But anyway, I thought you like the drinks with the little umbrellas...and a penis straw. :)

In fact, just hearing your voicemail message pretty much confirms that..

Nice setup and selection. WHAT?!? No PBR? Good for you for not giving in to the trend.

I was thinking of raising my programming rates. Yuppie beer and penis straws are getting expensive.

How do you get all the hoses connected to the spigots in such a crowded space inside the inaccessible tower?

Three tier means that a brewer can not sell directly to a retailer. There has to be a middleman (distributor). Knowing this, and knowing that distributors have limited warehouse space and retailers have limited shelf space is why you see bud light packaged 600 different ways (eat up all of the floor or retail display space)

floor space is eaten up at retail because the retailer has to buy all 600 combos?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

You tell me. When you go to the grocery store's beer isle, how much space is eaten up by Bud Light derivatives.

The tower is an assembly of 3 tap collars and each side of the tower is completely independent of the other (12 taps are fed through the left leg, 9 through the right).

I assembled the guts on a table top using a spacing jig I made to keep the draft collars at the right seperation. Then slid the completed insulated assembly into the draft collars.

The manufacturer of the tower parts explicitly told me that it would work/fit but it did... barely.

A friend of mine has a very successful bar in Northern Virginia. He says one of the most popular draft he has on tap in Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. Had a glass and it tasted pretty good.
If you are going to do the job...why not do it the right way?

So the glycol is pumped through the tower, right? That's an awesome system. I'm definitely a fan of good cold beer.

If your friend doesn't have or hasn't tried Angry Orchard, clue him in.
