Just curious to know what everyone is looking forward to seeing at CEDIA. Anything new and exciting to be announced? Is there an expected show stopper?

I can't really come up with anything myself other than Elan. They should have some new products there. They have a 4in wireless Via and the System 12 Controller - [Link: elanhomesystems.com]

Oh yeah, most importantly, where is the party at?! Isn't it Monster and Speakercraft who have the big bashes?

I'd personally like to check out the new Denon 5805. Supposed to be pretty bad ass. Aside from that i'll be checking out the new video displays/projectors. There's always plenty to see.

No, I hear they are going to use special oxygen free titianium coated with 40% silver and 40% gold and 20% commixture. What could be more exciting?

If they only have a matching set of crimpers for those, my life would be complete...

Damn Deb1919, that was funny. I can only imagine what the Bose guys are in for at CEDIA this year. Just what I would like to face, thousands of guys in an industry I just pissed all over.

Yes, but do you think that Eric is Jeff's character and Will is Jim's character or the other way around?

I'm looking forward to finding my Christmas present to myself. A 42" to 50" wall mount HDTV. I just don't know what brand or type just yet. Any suggestions out there?

Oh, and by the way, yeah, I'm looking forward to the parties at night!!!!

Dave

I wasn't trying to insult them pesonally - I was referring to the companies. PHAST was a bomb - that was the basis for my dig.

I am anxious to see an available hotel room at Cedia...a restaurant that can handle more than three patrons and a night club that is not located in a mall. The best thing Indianapolis is the Steak & Shake on the corner. Perhaps Cedia should heed to the needs of the attendees and have a qualified city to host the show rather than trying to help the "local" economy. There. I've vented some.
