Three sources (sat, cd changer, tuner) on Russound CA4.4. Volume level is different on all sources. Have heard that Radio Design Labs STA-2A is a great fix. Yet quite expensive, 165.00 each approx. System was done cost effiecently originally. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks very much.

The cheap way to attenuate and match realative volume levels is to use RF attenuators in line with the interconnects. They are available in many different levels of attenuation so you can get a pretty close match.

Bruce,

I recently had a similar situation, and I couldn't find the right kind of attenuators anywhere. So I ended up buying these really expensive audiophile, in-line attenuators from a UK company called Rothwell.

Can you give us a link to the RF attenuators so I can see what I need to get in the future??

Thanks,

Dawn

Why not just make a small box with input and output jacks and voltage dividers using low-noise resistors? A potentiometer can be used to determine the best resistors, or you can make it permanently adjustable with stereo potentiometers.

This product was linked to a recent post with the same problem. Looks like a cool cheap fix.
