Toshiba sais stand alone players are all that count and since the start of the year they sold a few more, Sony reports that for the last 12 weeks BD stand alone players outsold HD DVD's.

it's not sensationalist journalism it is pure and simple propaganda (intentional or not) very few facts basterdized to give the wrong impression and convince people of something that is not true.
