I was just there over the weekend with my GF for mikes wedding. We stayed in herold square. Although the city was cleanish it certainly wasn't clean like philly is (and that's saying something cause philly is a shithole)

Overall it was fun being there for a day and a night but if I never have to go back to NYC it will be too soon. Although everywhere we went was safe and clean i could never ever live there. I was really shocked about how nice Central Park is, didn't even know here was a lake there!

I think next time we'll stick to the water tour around NYC ;)

Today i coughed and wheezed just like i have been doing for the last two weeks here on Long Island. It started as a cold or minor bout of the flu and it just wont go away. I can't get any work done. I tried nyquil but it gave me some pretty crazy dreams two nights in a row. Doctor wont give me antibiotics.

I never get sick in Chicago. NY has too many people. Everything is dirty. Everyone is a litterbug. Grocery store (shop rite, king kullen, waldbaums) entrances look and smell like garbage dumps. I cant wait to go home where slightly fewer people throw their garbage down wherever they are standing or driving. No seriously i have seen 4 different people just toss a soda cup or cigarette pack out of the window while driving down the highway.

Legionnaires was going around NYC.

My son was living in Hawaii, and just moved back to NYC.

He complained about Hawaii being dirty and the people being lazy, and then moves back to NYC?

There is something seriously wrong with the boy....

Clearly he didn't get your beach bum gene. Ever notice what color eyes the FedEx driver has?

Went to the wannagofast 200MPH Challenge. Absolutely incredible. 214MPH Lamborghini Gallardo TT from underground racing. 207 MPH GTR. Porsche 918 Spyder. Some insane Corvettes, CTS-Vs, Camaros, etc. really fun day. Friend hit 160 in his Callaway Corvette and another buddy hit 166 in his 997 turbo. The turbo was not running right. He should have been hitting 180MPH. Has some bugs to work out!

Spent the weekend at the cabin with my 15-yr old son. We installed a stairwell to the basement we are finishing off (and got some football in). I think he felt quite a sense of accomplishment when we finished our weekend project. I really enjoyed the time and the fact he was interested in learning. Man the years have really flown by................
