Hmmmm......the leds light actually shows through the white Pex tubing?

I never would have thought that to work.

Or did you use a clear Pex tubing?

white pex tubing.  you have to be careful though. there is some listed as white, but it is actually yellow, and will affect the color.

Waterproof rgb strips inside white Pex tubing. Controlled by a simple dmx to rgb unit for now. It is in a demo mode that just scrolls through colors. I will be using a controller that has a mic built in. It senses music and flashes the lights to the beat. It can also be controlled via IR to select single colors and fade modes. All simple stuff available on Amazon.

That's awesome. I want to try this in my pool.

How did you handle getting the wire out of the pool? by the steps?

they slip right under the copings.  i had to dismantle all the caps and copings to zip them in.  i can take a section apart and post a photo of how they attach.

If you don't mind that would be great!

Thanks

Not today, but over the weekend our sales/design guy closed a resi project that should end up at around $90K or so. Sounds like it's going to be a really nice one.

For the hell of it, bought a Chromebook... I've got to say, it is very impressive. Especially for $169! I was going to get an iPad mini, but thought I'd at least try out a Chromebook first for the heck of it. I'm gonna keep it.

Blazingly fast, no virus' to worry about, lightweight 2 lbs at the most, 12 hour battery time, and I can use it on my commute to to watch Netflix, read my emails etc. using my phone as a hotspot.

Technology is getting amazingly cheap. NOw, I am NOT a computer geek, but I've had Macs, PCs --- but I love this little thing.

So are you trying to say that you're changing your screen name?

Wishing you all the best to come my friend. Happy birthday!
