Was the guy just a true dead beat or did he just have a rough go at life lately?

My lawyer asked if I noticed anything of value in the house, I'll see where it goes, this has been a learning experience.

You should hand him the invoice for your equipment and say, "yeah, this stuff"

Been working on this retrofit in a house built about a year ago:

New owners want music throughout (Sonos with inwall iPads via iPort), retrofit RA2, drapes and shades and a good movie experience in the family room. Shown is the Family Room with existing 60 inch and holes for Pro Home Cinema speakers and a 10' wide Vutec screen. Projector will be Wolf DLP in a Draper lift.

Only now its all used equipment and dated.

This guy was referred by another client, and just came up with one excuse after another. If half of them were true then he was just having the worst year of anyone's life, but at the end of the day, that isn't my problem. It started off as hang a tv and put in a remote, then at the install I told him he needed a new receiver which is where the project value started to grow.

Spent all week reprogramming & adding upgrades to a Control4 system for a high-profile customer. The original CI wasn't an authorized C4 dealer and their "finished product" was very neatly installed but terribly programmed. Luckily it was only audio & video distribution, but they set up two "rooms" for each zone--one for audio and one for video--ridiculous!

Anyways, I was doing final testing this afternoon when the Marantz SR7007 prompted me that a firmware update was available. Of course with it being Friday and the project being 99.9% complete, the update bricked the AVR. On the bright side, the customer just gave us a blank check to replace it!

Cool; I want to hear it in person.
How many days until CEDIA?

Mario my friend, I'm looking forward to hanging out again. I do want to make it out your way, I've never been to the southwest, maybe we can get Rhea and Jeff to come out and we can do it up, then go to Texas and shoot some hogs. I have a new precision. .308 that needs to be broken in.

You're welcome anytime but I got to warn you; southwest is a black hole and a dump. There is nothing to see between mid Texas and California coast, except for maybe Grand Canyon, and that's in Arizona/Nevada (on your way to see Hoover Dam and Las Vegas).
The last exciting thing that happen here was the Trinity site and that was in 1940s.

Today I ordered a new air rifle for ground hog control. I truly despise this creature and every year my life is Caddy Shack.

Hurry up Fedex.

I bought a used Victory Jackpot and the wife got a Honda Silverwing about 6 weeks ago. I took mine in to get new rubber on it.

So, since the wife never rode. We took her scooter to the High School for her to practice on.

Looks like we will enjoy another spring day until winter cold comes back. For my Michigan brothers. Go Tigers

In California, with a judgment in-hand, you can pay for the sheriff to go to a known bank to search for the defendant's account (either personal or business). If a bank account with the defendant's name is found, the sheriff will have the bank withdraw the amount of judgment from the account (or clear it out depending on the judgment amount and the balance). You have to pay for this service, so it's a bit of a gamble.

I used to do light paralegal work for an attorney years ago and we once recovered about 70% of a judgment against a defendant using this method. My attorney was shocked when we got a check from the sheriff a couple weeks after filing the request.

Proposed my largest Conference room system to date. Not huge compared to most but big for me. Just under $70k for everything we are doing...the client has some things already. We'll see where what happens.
