I call the 800 number and ask all my questions on exactly what I need before I go every time. I got burned too many times at the DMV in the past.

Brendon, do you have any private DMV offices in NJ? Here in NM we have a company called MVD Express. They are authorized by state and have access to their system. It's few bucks more than in the state run locations, but it's well worth it.

Check AAA, here in Ca they perform DMV functions, far more convenient to use.

For the second time in my life, the DRIVE THROUGH lady and Braum's asked me if I wanted it "here" or to "go?" So this time I went there, I said, "for here please." There was a really long pause. I stayed quiet. she actually came back on the mic and said, if you would like to pull around front and come inside I can have your total ready. I Said, "Mam, I am in the drive through for a reason."
I laugh thinking about that and the fact this has happened to me twice. So far a good day

Just got back from Manhattan to look at a job. While I've been down there a number of times, I've never driven there before. Always took the train in. All I can say is you HAVE to put your defensive driver hat on. Those mofos are crazy!!!!

Now, when I go to visit my parents once every 2-3 years, I'm the one driving scared. Funny, it only takes me 1-2hours to get back to my old self and I rule the roads again. I don't do bumper bumping though; guess, I'm getting old or wise :-)

you can always hire me to be your driver :) Oh I was fine. Took the little ladies car and decided to ignore the pedal on the left. If I brought the new van, I'd have been nervous. Those trucks come inches to the side of you.

Drove a semi with a sixty foot trailer down "Avenue of the Americas" regularly back when I did that truck driver thing.
Talk about a trip!
Taxi cabs would drive up under the trailer in a vain attempt to get by me.
Hit more than one or two, but they would just drive off like it never happened.
Boston is just as bad. They don't just double park, they'll quadruple park.

i completed a feat that was apparently impossible todo today...i renewed the van registration. i went back this morning with all the paperwork i was told to BRING and they turned me down, went and did a small job and came back with one last thing they required me to bring... a business card (since im a DBA company my sig card didnt work) walked up to the window and just handed them the whole bunch of papers (19 in total) and 117 bucks later and a total of 5.5 hours of my time wasted I am now renewed. who would have thought it would be this difficult to RENEW it and forced to jump through hoops to GIVE the state money...Big Government at its finest On May 31, 2013 at 01:25, Mario said...
