I turned down my first Yacht job yesterday.  Great client that I've done 7 residential and commercial jobs for.  Boat was purchased in another country and arrived at the local harbor last weekend.

I met him in the morning to see it.  It would be a fun project but I just don't have the time to take it on and get through the learning curve.

Congratulations.
It's nice to be in a position where you can select which jobs to take and which ones to turn down.

I'm setting up the basement for my 10 month old daughter to be able to have a nice room to play in.

I’ve also added a 47'' LED screen so that my GF and I can also use the room as an extra room where to relax and watch my Formula one race on Sunday mornings without waking everyone up!

I'm making sure that the tv is bolted to the cabinet and that it can't fall. The cabinet itself is also attached to the wall.

My GF is pretty happy. She wanted this room for a while but we waited for the TV to arrive from one of your favorite suppliers before we could really finish the setup.

It looks good!

Today is my 7 year anniversary for being self employed full time.  I started Santa Barbara Smarthomes in November 2005 and worked at it part time for about 6 months while finishing obligations with my last employer.

Went to my second home in 30 days where we cannot extract the program off of a home works interactive processor. One is for a QED shade replacement. The other is to add 6 circuits of lighting via a WPM. Both will have to be completely reprogrammed!
I love supporting product that supports me!

Spending the day working on my skills.  Up at 7am combing the baseball field so that my 7/8 year old team could play.  We've had a ton of rain lately, so we've missed 3 weeks games.  I worked on the field for 3 hrs getting it ready. We lost. But who cares we got to play.

Now I'm working on a 6 pack of summer Shandy and a couple of racks of ribs. Yes, I'm smoking them on a gas grill.  I don't own a smoker.  I'll be drunk and full in about 4 hours.

Saturday we did a family/friends get together for my 38th birthday.
Today, it's officially my b-day. I plan on doing very little today in term of actual work.

Happy Birthday Mario.

Today is my 5th wedding anniversary. Time goes way too fast.

I also got cursed out by a client frustrated with their autonomic server. We are on our 3rd MMS-2.

I know these folks don't really respect our time but ill be damned if I take another lashing on the weekend.

We are recovering for a late night party so today is slow motion.
