I have a three year old Pronto and I had just updated my custom ccf on ProntoEdit. Now I can't get it to download to my Pronto. On the Pronto I have tried reset with no luck. I even reverted it to factory specs. I can program buttons on the Pronto screen to work my TV like turning it Off or On but still can't get my ccf file to download back into my Pronto HELP, I don't know what else I can do.
I get these details on my computer when it tries to download:

COM1:does support 115200 baud
COM2:opened but know response from RC device
COM3:does support 115200 baud

Try tapping the screen prior to starting the download. In other words, wake the Pronto up. Additionally, make sure that nothing else is using your port, turn off any PDA software. If all else fails, try downloading Tonto - a substitute for PE. The communication is MUCH more reliable. Download v1.41, from here: [Link: giantlaser.com],

Make sure you are running the most current version of the Firmware for the TSU1000. Check the version in your pronto against the current version listed in the FAQ. May we assume you are using PE 4.05 and have the serial cable connected to one of the com ports available. Com1 is preferred. Make sure you do no have a device occupying com3 (like a PDA "hotsynch" program). If it is a firmware issue, PE 4.05 can download the newest firmware to your pronto.
Good luck

By the way, I am using PE 4.85. By the way where can I order a cable for down loading from ProntoEdit?
