Make sure you are running the most current version of the Firmware for the TSU1000. Check the version in your pronto against the current version listed in the FAQ. May we assume you are using PE 4.05 and have the serial cable connected to one of the com ports available. Com1 is preferred. Make sure you do no have a device occupying com3 (like a PDA "hotsynch" program). If it is a firmware issue, PE 4.05 can download the newest firmware to your pronto.
