You are a full line dealer or Prodigy only?

If you are a full dealer, you can go to Crestron and download Masterinstaller for Systembuilder

i downloaded master installer for system builder and when running it, it does not offer to upgrade anything.

but when i run system builder, i choose new file, and the only processors it lets me choose is the PMC2, PMC2+

Go to the Crestron website and download the files separately. You may have an older version of system builder master installer that was just for Prodigy systems. If you are a full Crestron dealer download just the master installer not Master Installer for System Builder and it will get all the software you will need.

PS I will be in NJ on the 19th as well

Don't bet on that one.
I went to Prodigy class last month and there were at least four of us with MBP's (I do think that I as the only one with 8G of RAM and a "T" of hard drive) and one of the guys had the absolute latest/greatest MBP out there.

Basically when you open up Master Installer you will need to put a check mark on all the software on the left side. You probably won't need D3 Pro unless you program Crestron lighting systems. This should all show up on the right side and select download and install. It is going to take a while for a full install the template files are pretty large.

i had to uninstall SB and reinstall it via Master Installer.
that took care of it and now i have the full software up.

now im just stuck trying to figure out how to get SM to recognize the QM-RMC i have hooked up. i dont know the IP address of it and im wondering if i can somehow auto discover it.

i already have the 3X connected via WIFI and SM see's that via the ip address i put in to it via the address book.

Use the Device Discovery Tool located in the Tools Menu option of Crestron's Toolbox software.

great day!

it wasnt seeing the QM-RMC because it was set as a static IP.
i figured out the IP and got in . .

i successfully programmed my first (non prodigy) crestron setup today!

ultra simple, with a cen-wap, qm-rmc, and a 3X . .
but it works!

If you don't have a Customer number then you're not a dealer (or employee of a dealer) and you're not allowed to have the software.
