I have had the same issue. URC actually documented it - it had something to do with updating the current firmware with certain VISTA/W7 along with virus software. Tried two of them - same thing. It had nothing to do with the ipod. I had my customer do the firmware update on his end (with XP) and it worked perfectly using the same ipod. Other than getting a case # that's all I really did about it.

Maybe that's why they put a big sticker on the box that reads:
"IMPORTANT!
Update firmware
before programming."

So what is the final word? does it work all the time or is there a problem? I have installed about 10 PSX2'S and have not had a customer call back yet.

I just installed a PSX-2 with a classic 160gb and the customer called me the next day with a locked ipod.
If your not having problems I would like to know what king of iPods are in the docks and what OS your using to update firmware.

No Problems Works Perfectly
iPod Touch 32GB
No Problems so far, but it's had very little dock time.

Thanks for reply Palnews.
I have to switch out the 160gb for my client. I was hoping someone could say positively the 32gb touch is not locking up after 100+ cover art transfers.
If anyone is having success with a 32gb touch please post.
