Oh, I have an MX-950. I just posted in this thread because the two remotes appear to use the same battery. Didn't realize the MX-880 didn't have a cradle. The battery in mine doesn't hold a charge more than a few hours, and I need to replace it. Just wondering if I can use an aftermarket li-ion battery (like the NP-60) with the 950 cradle.
I recommend the Ultralast UL-NP60 mentioned in a previous post. They have a 2-year warranty as mentioned and are 1200 mAh, $16 shipped on Buy.com. They can be used with the MX-950, 810, 880 and 980. I've been using one with an old MX-950 for alomst a year now.
