This worked for me as well on 32 bit Vista Home Premium.
One small thing, it only seems to work one USB port at a time, ah the joys of Windows. If you connect the MX-3000 to a different USB port on the PC you need to redo the last step about selecting the proper Microsoft driver again. I was a bit baffled at first when it connected and then it didn't until I realized that Windows Mobile Device Center might treat each USB connection differently, which in this case it does. Thanx again for figuring this out.
