I also just purchased a DVD-M100 so the only things I'll be managing with SNL will most likely be my TV shows on the TSU9600. Rest assured, I'm planning to work on a new .NET version but just have had no time or incentive (translated $$$). One of the big hindrances for NG software is that the remote uses a raster font ProntoNEO.fon and not a true-type font like the classic and 9600 remote. .NET does not handle raster fonts in a nice manner, making SNL that much more difficult to develop.
