to answer the OP, as mentioned, its due to lack of customization. with my MX-980 i can have ANY command on ANY button i like. i can program macros to do exactly what i want without having to find silly work arounds... and more blah blah blah, its all been said.

a URC or something of the like can be made to be "bulletproof" so a no mind customer wont get be calling the installer for follow up service calls unnessesarily.

however if you dont care so much about "tweaky" type of customization, or on a budget then i wouldnt think there is anything wrong with harmonies, and i in fact intend on buying one this month for the new plasma i got the wife for the bedroom. she couldnt care less about customization and i would rarely use it. so its the perfect solution.
