I sure this is obvious to most of you out there, but I've read a lot about JP1, discretes, IR, Key-Master, etc., yet I do not understand what the meaning of strings of hex codes like the ones posted above, and what to do with them. I learned how to use IR to download into my URC-8811 the discrete codes for power on and off (022 and 026 respectively) for the Hitachi TV (device code 0145) so I can teach my MX1000. Can you please either explain to me how to apply strings of hex codes (like the ones above) for my application, or point me in the right direction.
