Some functions such as transport control and presets for
the iPod, network and tuner sources are not available
unless zone 1 is on for the 06 and 07 models.
I ran some tests on this just to check what was and was not available. To my surprise (and pleasure) operations such as tuner preset control and full iPod functions are all available on my zone 2 even when zone 1 is off. Yay!
