San Francisco is also very expensive. NYC is outrageous for hotels, meeting areas, and recreation. Chicago has a union problem, making it difficult and expensive for exibitors (that's why CES is no longer there). LA is moderately priced, but the areas that have affordable convention centers are boring (Aneheim). The best bets are Vegas or San Diego. San Diego is a little more expensive than Vegas, but has a wide variety of entertainment options, both daytime and evening. SD also has alot of hot looking girls-- and unlike Vegas, they usually don't charge for an evening of their time.

Okay, I admit it, I live in San Diego. I was just hoping to save some air fare and travel time. Seriously, though, it is a pretty good convention town.

What am I looking for at Cedia? A good programmable hard-button remote control that is well priced ($150), versatile, and reliable with an intuitive button layout. A Pronto isn't for everyone.
