Thread has gotten kinda confusing with the four/five digit remote confusion... So, my first question is... Does the 5 digit remote (Comcast Custom DVR 3 Device) work with Olevia TV's? Second question is where are the folks located that currently have that device? After dozens of useless trips to the two comcast service centers in my area, I called comcast to find out at least when these devices would be released. After being dropped once, and transferred to three different departments, I found a gal that was not only helpful, but interested in my problem. She looked back over a memo dated May 1st telling techs how to difference if presented with a question from a customer. Well, turns out that those remotes are not planed to be released in the chicago land area, and the memo was only distributed in case a customer got one by mistake... So I need to plan a road trip if needed...
