If someone ran cheap copper-clad steel coax, then yeah you probably aren't getting past 100-150ft.
I always use quality name brand solid copper, quad shield coax. And always get 300ft+ with satellite signals on coax (using RG6).
Interesting! Does this include the Genie minis running off a DirecTV DVR? This is not between a dish and a multiswitch. Perhaps you have done this successfully between a multiswitch and a stand alone DVR.
Wondering if others have done this with solid copper at over 300 ft.
