I've spent the last week living in a level 3 (GET OUT) area.
I sent the family north to stay with other family members but stayed to deal with this disaster.
I stayed to protect my property from fire and potential looters!
I'm a fighter and never give up!
I don't care who the 'opponent' is!
Thankfully,the fires only came within a half mile,the looters didn't show up(at my house!), and we are now in a level 2 (get ready) zone as of today.
The smoke is horrendous and I'm praying for rain!
Now the work begins.
I'm going to volunteer to help the others that weren't as fortunate as us.
According the the law enforcement agencies, "the looters" didn't show up to more than a half dozen or so locations throughout the entire state.
