From that, here's this from Chris Pauly at RTI:
There is no table which currently shows what a device can be converted into.

This was 2014. HEY! You're right! It's not on the website! Chris continues:
However, Integration Designer can show you the information that you are looking for. First, open a System file in ID and select the legacy remote. Then go to the Device Menu and go to the “Convert Device” option. Hovering over “Convert to” will bring up a menu of the devices that your selected remote can be converted into.

The T2+ file can be converted to either an RK2 or a T2-B. So this is not a path ahead.

This is really too bad because there are two systems, with some fancy switching accomplished on two RP6s. Oh, well.

And TommyBoy, I don't mean to bag on you, but look at the instructions Chris gave me and compare them with yours. You left out several important details. Thanks for trying, though.
