I would bet that most of them wear them because they look good and our society has never been serious about speaking about men's sexuality.
By serious I mean discussing what actually turns on a man, and what instead of turning him on will make his neck track a pleasantly rounded shape like a missile on bin Laden.
I was listening to a couple of guys on the radio talking about how we men are, and the woman newscaster who was on with them was AMAZED and had never heard of nor imagined what goes through men's imaginations or subconsciousnesses.
I hope they never go out of fashion, but it is difficult to not stare. Yet if caught staring I get the stink eye.
It is a double standard for sure. If women don't want advances (I don't mean actual unwanted touching), then wear friggin' saggy clothing and flannel shirts.
Again, understanding what makes men stare would help all of us A LOT.
