This year, we as a human race reached approximately 7.5 billion people on this planet. A planet that can only comfortably sustain about 1 billion.
Natural resources are being consumed at an alarming rate.
Being huddled together with no room and little privacy inflames anger, tension, and hostilities.

And still humans breed like cockroaches. Scurrying around everywhere, consuming everything, destroying everything.

We so desperately need WW3.
Or that killer plague that is immune to all antibiotics we have festered.
Or that comet to hit the planet.
Or pray for another great flood.
Whether I survive it or not does not matter. If the human race is to make it to the next millennium (or even century at this point), it needs to happen soon. While there is still a chance for the planet to sustain itself.

We only have 5+ billions years left before our sun starts turning into a red giant. And we have to have advanced enough as a species, to leave this rock and colonize beyond our skies.
Not going to happen with the direction our societies are headed today.
