As to your other statement, the numbers don't add up at all.


If you buy a product, and sell it for less than you paid for it, you won't make a profit.

Buying wholesale does mean you wont pay taxes, but that small amount doesn't get you to a point you can sell at below your cost and make money. even if you collect taxes on your resale (typically not done on Ebay and the like), and don't report them, you still come up short.

Maybe there's a state that's collecting 15% or 20% sales tax that might get you there. I don't know, but either way, you are now going down a road where tax evasion is sure to be found.
