That is pretty much true, but you need other info, keys or whatever, to activate the C4 software (which, I'm sure there are ways around, too). I was able to download the software using a login from a buddy who works for another company, because I wanted to sorta look under the hood and see how their software compared to Simpl and Blueprint before actually pursuing a dealership. But between that and their other policies, I lost interest.
