I listened to a podcast today from ISE. They interviewed a guy from Crestron, John Clancy. He was a dealer for 20 years and Gold Programmer, says he was brought on for a dedicated focus on residential.
Say's they skipped Cedia because of the direction the show is going vs where their market is going. Big presence at Cedia the year prior from DIY products and things aimed to bypass the membership, where their products are designed to be installed professionally, programmed professionally, supported professionally and their direction is upstream and upmarket.
Any thoughts on this?
