Well since you want to be a dick about it let me tell you why I would like to have it.
I am a disabled vet with limited mobility, I have decided to add automation to my home as a way to improve my limitation. Then do it properly instead of trying to screw around with a product that was never really meant to do what you want. Also, call a pro for some design help.
