Don't get me wrong, I am thankful she is no longer in pain. We all are. It is what is getting us through this. It doesn't take our pain away though. That will take time.
I am 6 months out from my mom passing, 4 from my dad. Nothing prepares you for the pain you are going through. It took a few months before things got easier. I still shed a tear here and there, that is part of being human. It is getting easier though.
