My problem is that since I always know what is coming next, I never want to buy anything! I do not always have to have the latest and greatest things. But for some reason, when it comes to buying AV gear, I cannot get myself to buy this year's stuff when next year's stuff is only 6 months away. Air go (let us see if Ernie catches that one), I do not have much of a "system". Of course we are renting....a room or 2....at my in-laws' home, so it does not make much sense to put anything fabulous in. When we get around to moving back into our home (we are renting it to some friends for now), it may become more pressing to put something together.
For now, with 2 youngsters, a wife that works 2 or 3 nights a week, and work being so busy, I am happy to not have the time to spend on "personal" stuff. I would much rather hang out with my kids reading "Fox in Socks" than anything that involves wires or brackets or programming. :)
I have some pretty big plans for our house. I just need to be living there to work on it. I somewhat reluctantly put some grass in the back yard over the summer. I put a lot of sweat, blood, and Rockstar into a project that I will not be able to enjoy for who knows how long. No way am I going to put in the landscape audio system for them too! :)
