The Harmony remote works fine when pointed straight at the receiver.

The problem comes from going through a Sewell IR emitter like this:

I've read the emitters that stick on the eye can overpower the Dtv box.
I bought a Xantech 28adj control to turn down the emitter output but it still doesn't work.

I would love an RTI or similar control but just can't justify having to proffesionally have it programmed any time there is a problem or change.
