I have need of the Marantz remote codes for discrete HDMI output switching on the SR8001, from the following thread:

I am not sure how to get them to the MX-500. I have an OFA 8810w and JP1/parallel cable (but no computer with a parallel port anymore), and the MX-500 I am trying to teach. Is there a USB cable that will work with this remote, if it is possible to use this remote to learn these codes? Can it be done with advanced codes only (i.e., without the JP1 interface)? Should I "upgrade" my OFA remote?

It has been a long time since I programmed the 8810w and I have no idea what software to use to do this. I would get a USB cable and/or a different JP1 remote if necessary. Thanks for any help or pointers.
